Imran qualified in Dentistry at the University of Glasgow in 2001, and joined the Specialist Orthodontic Register in 2011. During his training he won 2 prestigious prizes from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow as the T.C White Lecturer Award and the Royal Society of Medicine Odontology President’s Prize Award. 

He has worked in in general practice and hospital dentistry in the UK and Australia and currently works in a busy specialist orthodontic practice, offering NHS and full private orthodontic treatment, having treated thousands of complex cases to completion. 

Outside of orthodontics Imran is the treasurer for the charity Dental Aid Network that provides voluntary dental missions to areas of high need including orphanages, refugee camps and vulnerable people worldwide. He hopes to graduate with a Master’s in Business Administration in September 2023.
