Social media whitening competition
1. The Promoter is Portman Healthcare Limited, which is registered and incorporated in England and Wales under company number 06740579. Our registered office is at Rosehill, New Barn Lane, Cheltenham, GL52 3LZ.
2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of Portman Healthcare Limited, their family or close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of this competition.
3. The competition will run from 12:00am on 1st November 2023 (the Opening Date) to 11:59pm on 31st December 2023 (the Closing Date) inclusive.
4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
5. By entering this competition, an entrant is agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
6. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via the competition landing page on the Portman Dental Care website: https://www.portmandentalcare.com/christmas-whitening
7. Only one entry will be accepted per person per method of entry. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
8. After the Closing Date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
11. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
12. The prize is as follows: One 1st prize winner will receive a Love2Shop voucher worth £100, and whitening treatment from their nearest participating Portman Dental Practice. Two 2nd prize winners will receive whitening treatment from their nearest participating Portman Dental Practice. Whitening treatment can only be conducted on patients that are dentally fit, which will be judged at the discretion of the allocated dentist at the patient’s nearest participating Portman Dental Practice. If additional dental work is required prior to treatment then you will be charged for this. All patients must be over the age of 18 to receive whitening treatment.
13. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable, subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
14. Winners will be chosen at random by software from all entries received and verified by the Promoter and/or its agents.
15. The winners will be notified by email within 7 working days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement.
16. The winners must collect their prize from their nearest participating Portman Dental Practice. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on the winner’s behalf. The Promoter does not accept responsibility if the winner is not able to take up the prize.
17. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
19. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry.
20. The winners’ names will be available for 28 days after the closing date by emailing the following address: [email protected]
21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other social network.
22. You are providing your information to Portman Healthcare Limited and not to any other party.
23. The only data we collect will be the information you provide via the entry form if you choose to enter the competition.
24. Names and usernames will only be used to randomly select the winners and will not be permanently stored unless you confirm via the tick box on the landing page that you are happy to be contacted. After the winners have accepted their prize, all other names and usernames will be removed from our servers, unless you have confirmed you are happy to be contacted.
25. Winners’ names will be stored and available for 28 days after the Closing Date as per point 20. After this point, they will be removed from our servers.
26. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
